ProFuturo Project

A digital education initiative providing technological equipment, a learning platform, and training for teaching communities to improve teacher competencies and classroom learning environments.

ProFuturo operates across 61 schools in Tanzania, spanning Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Morogoro, Mafinga-Iringa, Ruvuma, Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar. Globally, ProFuturo operates in 40 countries, including 17 African nations.

Objectives

Provide technological equipment and a learning platform to schools.
Train teaching communities to improve competencies and classroom learning environments.

Results

Current performance metrics: student monthly usage 1.28 days (median), down 0.10 from the previous quarter; 99.41% of teachers report technology benefits classroom learning; 73.79% of teachers report improved motivation; 202 activated solutions (servers) cumulative, 159 in Q1 2024; 7.82% of equipment (19 solutions) damaged, unused, or stolen; 16.55% of students active monthly.
