WHO WE ARE
The Don Bosco Networks Tanzania serves as the technical arm of the provincial structure, ensuring quality, efficiency, and effectiveness in the execution of the congregation’s mission. It plays a pivotal role in advancing the Salesian mission across Tanzania by initiating, planning, advising, securing funding, executing, and monitoring projects that address the needs of local communities. Specializing in small, medium, and large-sized initiatives, the Organization’s primary focus areas include Education (Primary, Secondary & TVET), Youth Animation Programs, support for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC), Agriculture, and Employment Orientation through its Job Services Office.
Moreover, the Organization’s integrates cross-cutting themes such as Environmental Sustainability, Gender Equity, Social Inclusion (PwDs) Human Rights & Good Governance, and Digitalization & Technology across all its operations. Each of the projects the office initiates and executes is rooted in the specific needs of local communities, with an overarching goal of improving the social, educational, and economic well-being of vulnerable populations, particularly youth.
Over the past decade, the Organization’s has successfully implemented a wide range of projects with the support of both Local and International donors.
Its accomplishments have earned the trust and confidence of donors, community members, and government agencies alike. Nationally recognized for its exceptional service, especially to young people, the Organization’s has set new benchmarks for community engagement. The office ensures that local communities are involved at every stage of project development— from problem identification and solution design to planning and execution— to ensure the most effective outcomes. In return, the communities have shown unwavering support by contributing time, materials, and moral backing to these initiatives.
