Our Short History

The Don Bosco Networks Tanzania is the technical backbone of the Salesian mission, dedicated to promoting quality, efficiency, and sustainability in community development across the country. Its mission is to improve the social, educational, and economic well-being of vulnerable populations, especially youth, through a range of impactful projects. Don Bosco Network Tanzania  focuses on key areas such as Education (Primary, Secondary, TVET), Youth Animation Programs, support for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC), Agriculture, and Employment Services. The office also integrates cross-cutting themes like Environmental Sustainability, Gender Equity, Social Inclusion (PwDs), Human Rights, Good Governance, and Digitalization in all its initiatives.

With a proven track record of successful project implementation, Don Bosco Network Tanzania collaborates with both local and international donors to create transformative solutions for communities. The office ensures active community participation at every stage of project development, from needs assessment to execution, ensuring that local contexts are reflected in each initiative. This inclusive approach has earned Don Bosco  the trust and support of both donors and local communities, who contribute time, materials, and moral support. Nationally recognized for its exceptional service, Don Bosco  has set new benchmarks for community engagement, making lasting strides toward a brighter future for Tanzania’s youth and vulnerable populations.
